Why do we eat what we eat? πŸŽπŸŠπŸ‡

Do you remember a time before kale? Why does that guy Josh in the office 'eat' soylent? How can someone not like to eat fruit?!These are the questions that Gimlet and Blue Apron set out to answer in their new podcast Why We Eat What we Eat.

Every time you go to the grocery store, you have a nearly infinite amount of potential combinations of what to bring home. Is it taco night? Which of the six kinds of Doritos do you want to buy this week? What veggies are in season? There are reasons you fill your grocery bags with certain things. Unseen forces are at work, influencing our food choices and eating habits. This podcast brings those forces out of the shadows for the curious eaters among us. 

Think of it as the adult version of 'playing with your food.'
