R U Talkin’ R.E.M. RE: ME? is mostly the nonsense ramblings of two possible psychopaths, but there’s also some music talk. More specifically, the purpose of the podcast is to break down, track-by-track, each of R.E.M’s albums. There are at least 15 studio albums, and a bunch more EPs and live albums, to give you a sense of how far they can stretch this thing.

The episodes are absurdly long, often exceeding two hours, and include recurring segments and inside jokes you’ll eventually become familiar with. But what little time they actually spend discussing the music, you’ll feel the true fandom behind the shtick.
