#057: Serial. Season 3. 🐐

You knew it had to be this.

It's been four years since the world started following the case of Adnan Syed with bated breath, week after week. Almost three years since we tried to make sense of the strange case of Private Bowe Bergdahl. And now, finally, the podcast that started the true crime wave, is back for a third season.

That’s right: Serial is back.

This time, Sarah Koenig has decided not to follow an individual case. Instead she’s set her sights on a bigger story: the entire U.S. justice system.

The Serial team spent a full year inside of a Cleveland courthouse, using its personalities, cases, and stories to illustrate the broader picture of what’s right and wrong about criminal justice in America. Spoiler alert: there seems to be a lot more wrong than right.

Beyond the really timely topic, I’m just really, really happy to have Koenig’s voice in my headphones again.

Hope you're as excited as we are.

If they found out she was a judge’s niece or related in some way, I don’t even think she even would have been charged.
