Have you ever had a great, creative idea that died on the vine? Maybe you have one in the back of your mind right now, but just don’t know how to get it to the next stage.

We’ve all heard of crowdfunding service Kickstarter, which emerged to help tackle one of the main obstacles in seeing your idea to fruition: money. Now they’ve launched a new podcast to showcase the people behind the ideas, in the hopes of bringing other common creative obstacles to light — and hopefully some tips for overcoming them.

Most people approach branded podcasts with a certain degree of healthy cynicism. And no doubt, Kickstarter plugs its service in between the lines. But in this case, the episodes are less about the products, and more about the creative people behind them.

There’s also an “advice column” segment at the end of each episode, which is a great reminder that we all face similar creative struggles.
