Sarah Silverman has had a big year. Her Hulu show “I Love You America” got cancelled. She got a ton of flack for comments she made about friend Louis C.K. Her friend Senator Al Franken was forced to resign, caught up in the #metoo movement.

All of these stories sound like things most celebrities would avoid like the plague in interviews. But Silverman addresses each of these topics in very direct, open fashion on the first episode of The Last Laugh, a new comedy interview podcast from the Daily Beast.

The Last Laugh is hosted by writer/journalist Matt Wilstein. While he won't be winning any awards for vocal performance, Wilstein is more than willing to broach uncomfortable subjects and ask tough questions, which is really what makes this podcast worth listening to.

Have a listen and let us know what you think.
