[Podcast] From That 70s Show to That 2019 Podcast?
Topher Grace is nothing like Eric, the timid, vanilla character he played on That '70s Show. He’s funny, outgoing, and adventurous, all qualities he puts at the forefront of his new podcast, Minor Adventures with Topher Grace.
What are minor adventures? Telemarketing! Taking a lie detector test! Officiating a wedding! All of these he takes on with special guests — like Zachary Levi or Chelsea Peretti — because every adventurer needs a sidekick.
Our favourite episode is one with Wilmer Valderrama, his former '70s Show co-star. Him and Wilmer reminisce, and you get to be a fly on the wall in a friendship that was built during years on set. In the episode, they breathe new life into something they used to do during those long days together on set — voice act fake movie trailers. They’re joined by an icon of trailer narration, Wilmer fans out, and they not to laugh as they put on faux deep voices.
We all live minor adventures every day. This podcast is about making them the star of the show with a good dose of humour.
