[Podcast] Bill Nye Isn’t About to Let You Ignore Science
The news this week was alive with stories of Bill Nye. No, it isn’t 1995; the Science Guy had some choice words for climate change deniers on John Oliver’s Last Week Tonight.
“Grow the f--k up. You're not children anymore. I didn't mind explaining photosynthesis to you when you were 12. But you're adults now.”
Clearly, this is not the Bill Nye of our youth. Beyond swearing in videos, Nye has also just launched a new podcast, Science Rules!
If you can get past the lame title, the podcast sees the celebrity scientist field questions from the public on everything, in an effort to help people weave through the massive amount of misinformation online (vaccines, anyone!?). Enough of politicians spouting nonsense. From insects to electricity to cheeseburgers, Nye and his co-hosts have answers routed in science.
