In mid-March, news broke that actresses Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman were among dozens of parents who had been caught bribing and cheating their kids into American universities. People were outraged. It was just another example of the rich and famous skirting the rules and breaking the law to sidestep the requirements faced by regular people.

This outrage is based on the few news stories that people read about the situation. But brand new podcast Gangster Capitalism explains that we don’t even know the half of it.

It’s only been two months since news of the college admissions scandal broke, so it’s pretty remarkable that this podcast even exists already. But what’s more impressive is the level of detail they’re able to share on a situation that’s still in the courts. Hearing the nitty gritty info on how these rich families got their kids into these schools will make your blood boil — until you realize that they got caught.

From the sound of things, this is only the first story that Gangster Capitalism will explore. With each new season, we can expect them to expose more and more white collar corruption. We can't wait.

Have a listen and let us know what you think.
