[Podcast] A Serial Killer’s Daughter on the Hunt for the Truth
Last October we shared a podcast called Happy Face, in which the daughter of serial killer Keith Hunter Jesperson shared her story of growing up in a house with a psychopath. If you liked that story, fasten your seatbelts.
The Clearing shares the story of April Balascio, whose father was also a serial killer. Edward Wayne Edwards was convicted of killing five people and is suspected of many more. And it’s the “many more” part that makes this new podcast so interesting.
Balascio has no love for her father — she’s actually the person who put the police onto him. But the legend of Edwards has evolved over time. Beyond the murders he confessed to, he’s been accused of everything from being the Zodiac Killer to murdering JonBenet Ramsey.
All Balascio wants is the truth, so she’s teamed up with podcast host Josh Dean to dive into the rumors and try to separate fact from fiction.
