[Podcast] To Live and Die in L.A.
It’s a story out of a mystery novel. An aspiring model and actress heads to Hollywood to pursue her dreams of stardom. Instead she earned headlines as a missing person.
The case of Adea Shabani captivated Rolling Stone journalist Neil Strauss. He become so wrapped up in the hunt for answers that he ended up being a character in the plot. Strauss was threatened, told that if he released the podcast bad things would happen to him.
He did it anyways. This is To Live and Die in L.A.
Trust us on this one: do not Google this story before you listen to the podcast! It was headline news and there has been a lot of progress in the case since the podcast first came out last February.
Clearly we slept on this one (we’re ashamed, sorry!), but the upside is there’s already an entire 11-episode season for you to binge before you dive into all that online goss.
