Some people wake up every morning to the Daily, to absorb the worldâs biggest headlines thanks to the New York Times. Other people have⊠uh⊠different interests. If you love true crime, congrats: you finally have a daily podcast of your own!
Today in True Crime shares one significant crime story that happened on that exact day in history. Yes, thatâs one awful, terrible, no good story to dig your teeth into from New Yearâs Day to New Yearâs Eve.
The short-and-sweet, 20-minute episodes provide a high-level overview of each trial, case, or sick individual, so donât expect the suspense to build slowly. But if youâre looking for that quick kick on the train into work or on your morning jog, this hits the spot.
Part of me canât ignore how unfortunate it is that there are even enough stories to fill out this podcast. The other part wonders what crime happened on my birthday.
