But you probably don’t. But you might! But almost definitely not. If you go see a doctor they could tell you for sure. Maybe. Well, it depends on the doctor really.
Lyme is one of the most controversial and misunderstood diseases in medicine. New podcast Patient Zero attempts to shed some light on why.
As a society, we tend to assume doctors know everything. You don’t feel well, so you visit a doctor and assume that they’ll diagnose you and you’ll be on your feet in no time. Lyme disease might just be the best illustration of how limited our understanding of the body really is. This podcast essentially raises the curtain on the edge of medicine, and man is that a scary place to be.
