#197 June 14th, 2021 [Be Antiracist]

Dr. Ibram X. Kendi is an internationally acclaimed author, professor, historian, and anti-racist activist. Of his five #1 New York Times bestsellers, "How to Be an Antiracist" may very well be his most important work.

That earthshattering book drew on Dr. Kendi's lived experiences to demonstrate the systemic, racially rooted failures entrenched throughout much of modern society – especially in our policies and institutions.

At the onset of Be Antiracist, Dr. Kendi prompts listeners to separate people from institutions as we endeavor on our antiracism journeys, reminding us that individuals have a greater capacity to change the systems that reinforce racism than we are led to believe.

Dr. Kendi continues to hammer home the point that people AND policy must change if we are ever to have a society that values diversity and inclusion across all races.
