#209 September 6th, 2021 [How It Happened]

With a bunch of wealthy white dudes taking their (in some cases, absurdly phallic) rockets to space, it's safe to say we've entered a new space race.

Instead of the race being between nations, it's between a handful of people who have more money than they know what to do with and the lucky few who have been swept up by the virtuosity of the latest "free ticket to space" contest.

Setting aside the questionable governance and the iffy benefits of privatized space travel, outer space is one incredibly captivating frontier that we'll be exploring more than we have ever explored before.

How It Happened will be the closest thing we terrestrial beings can rely on to experience the ins and outs of space travel, from recruiting the people from the general(ish) population to the wildly childish litigation tactics of the space cowboys and the private companies that blast off into space on what seems like a weekly occurrence.

This ain't your mama's space race so why not follow along before you find yourself asking "How did it all happen?"
