A year removed from Reply All's ironically successful attempt to highlight toxic workplace dynamics with "The Test Kitchen", PJ Vogt re-finds his voice with Crypto Island.

Crypto Island is upfront about what it is – a mild recycling of the "I don't understand the Internet" premise that made Reply All fun, this time geared toward Web3 and the people entrenched in it all.

The thing with anything related to Web3 and cryptocurrencies is that it's incredibly polarizing. But for a lot of people, it's also fun to be a part of something that has yet to be fully defined.

Even if you're exhausted by it all, or if you're curious and looking for an intro to emerging technologies and the worlds being built around them, give Crypto Island a listen.

You'll learn about the Fyre Festival for crypto bros and how a random smattering of people from around the world thought they could buy a copy of the US Constitution on auction with their Constitution DAO. You'll even get to understand what a DAO is.

This podcast is just the beginning of what is sure to be a whirlwind adventure across that shiny new thing we call Web3. And despite this being a solo endeavor for Vogt, there are already plans to bring Crypto Island to screens and even other formats.

Who knows? There may even be an NFT one day.
