Who We Are
John and Luke are the co-founders and lead hosts, each bringing different but complementary expertise. John's background spans digital media, film studies, music composition, and design. Luke combines 20+ years in financial analytics with an almost encyclopedic knowledge of cinema.
Westy is our visual expert—a photographer, cinematographer, and director who spots things the rest of us miss. That perfectly composed frame, the subtle camera movement, why a particular lens choice makes all the difference.
Matt has over 20 years in broadcast television (ITV, Sky, Channel 5, Amazon) and an academic background in media production. He's the guy who can connect a film to the broader context of Hollywood history and explain why certain creative decisions matter.
Together, the four of us create something that's greater than the sum of its parts. The chemistry is real because the friendship is real—you can't manufacture 20 years of rapport.
