Get ready to get unsettled. 

For as long as humans could communicate, we’ve been telling stories. Once we were able to communicate over the air via radio waves, things got really interesting.

Case in point:

On October 30, 1938, at 8 PM, CBS aired a radio broadcast of H.G. Wells’ The War of the Worlds, directed by Orson Welles.

The show was so realistic that many listeners believed aliens were invading New Jersey and panicked.
