#368: Reply All Over Again
Are podcast remakes becoming a thing?
When Reply All started to gradually fall apart in early 2021, it was obvious that the show’s final episodes wouldn’t be the last time we’d hear from its hosts.
The vibe, at least to us, was that Reply All was greater than the sum of its parts.
Without Reply All we wouldn’t have Email Debt Forgiveness Day or Yes Yes No—two segments that stand up quite well for a podcast that never truly committed itself to a particular rhyme or reason.
But there’s a third segment that stands out and begs the question:
Can you catch podcast lightening in a bottle twice?
What about three times?
