#373: Always Follow the Money

Some news – 

Classic Capitalism (1776–2024) has passed away, succumbing to a long battle with greed and self-cannibalization. Once a bold advocate of opportunity and competition, it decayed into a game rigged for the few, where innovation bowed to monopoly and “growth” meant milking the masses. Its last words, mumbled from the penthouse, were something about “market forces” while profits skyrocketed and wages stagnated.

Capitalism is survived by its older sibling, Democracy, who has been crumbling under the weight of corporate influence and populist disillusionment.
